
These are part of a modular system designed for crumbling pellets and coarse-grained products using fluted rolls. The system includes crumblers, crushing roller mills, and grinders suitable for small, medium, and large production capacities. The direct drive ensures quiet operation and minimal wear.
Working Method:Pellets are fed continuously across the crumbler's width using a discharge device from the cooler or an additional feeding device. Fluted rolls operating at different speeds crush the pellets to a predetermined size, producing minimal fines that are recycled into the pelleting press after screening. The spring pretension can be adjusted to influence the granular size of the crumbled product. Rolls are driven at varying speeds to avoid foreign matter introduction.
Construction of Crumblers:The rolls are housed in a flat base frame, allowing easy integration into existing plants. Two pairs of crumbler rolls can be assembled into a double crumbler if needed. The design allows rolls to be removed from the front or side. Direct drives for each roll eliminate the need for chains, belts, or tooth-wheels, resulting in quiet operation, reduced wear, and easy maintenance. One roll is mounted in spring-type bearings, with roll distance and spring pre-tensioning adjusted by screw spindles. Distance readings are available on both sides.
Feeding Devices:Equipped with a directly driven feeding roll and adjustable feeding flap, the drive can be positioned on either side of the crumbler. A deviation flap allows bypassing the crumbler.
Additional Equipment:Roll distance adjustment and reversing flap regulation can be controlled remotely, with tele-indication of operational status.
