LMV1000 employs not only a different crystal lasing medium, Nd:YV04 (also known as vanadate), but also end pumping technology which offers a number of advantages; increased lasing efficiency, higher peak power density, shorter Q-switch pulse durations, and better beam quality. The result is a smaller spot size, finer line thickness and smaller character or feature sizes.
