Laser Welding Systems The Mu desktop laser welding systems offers the motion capabilities of a stage based system in a highly compact footprint. The Class 1 mini workstation utilizes a vertical door for quick access for load and unload. The Mu can be configured as a welding sub system for machine integration. • Compact • Fiber and Nd:YAG compatible • Up to 500W average power • High Speed Galvo motion Mu2020 system, only 20” wide TYPICAL APPLICATIONS KEY FEATURES • Compact System – A scan head which consists of two small orthogonal mirrors mounted to galvo motors provide xy motion.This enables an extremely small footprint that aligns with the needs of lean manufacturing offering minimal space integration. • Fiber and Nd:YAG lasers – Each application requirements aligns to different laser technology, both fiber and Nd:YAG technology can be integrated into the system, with an average powers up to 500W. • High Speed Motion – The benefits of using scan head technology is the capability for high speed processing and fast point to point positioning. • Integrated Solution – The motion control and laser control are fully integrated providing laser programming and remote schedule selection. Simple motion and spot welds can be programmed directly into the software, while more complex patterns can be imported as dxf or dwg files. • System Options – A number of standard and custom enclosure options are available, other options include laser and scan head class IV systems, through the lens vision, extraction and tooling.
