HIGH SPEED STABLE PROCESSING HIGHER SPEED AND ACCURACY constant Inner lens alone moves. Motorised Auto Focus Control System In order to ensure reliable processing, the LC αIV NT is equipped with Amada's latest HS capacitance sensing head. This smoothly and quickly follows the sheet profile to maintain a consistent cut even when the sheet is not 100% flat. The optimum focal point is automatically set from the cutting database to suit each material. A constant focus is maintained, ensuring optimum laser beam quality and reduced assist gas costs. Gas Start command Pressure command Warning and...

SIMPLIFIED OPERATION AND EASY MAINTENANCE GREATER EASE OF USE Smaller footprint and front-open structure ‘One Touch’ Lens and Nozzle Exchange The integral mechanical-electrical structure, a tradition of the LC-Alpha series, provides a small footprint. The pass line of the table is at the optimum height to ensure the ease of loading and unloading materals. To allow faster machine setup, the cutting head on the LC-Alpha IV NT is equipped with simple, quick change lens and nozzle cartridges. Call program Advanced AMNC-F Control This user friendly, network-ready NC control is full of Amada’s...

FUNCTIONS AND OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT Large workchute A large workchute (1470 x 550 mm for LC-1212 αIV NT and 1750 x 550 mm for LC-2415 αIV NT) is adopted to achieve highly efficient microjoint free processing. These large workchutes improve the access to finished parts. The machine is equipped with spatter guards to prevent molten material from escaping from the processing area. They also serve to prevent the laser beam dispersing during cutting operations to ensure the safety of operators. This fully automatic CAM system nests all the user defined parts and quantities, applies punch...

Repositioning mechanism Cutting plate The workclamps can be automatically moved during processing to the optimum position to suit the material being processed. This avoids any dead zones, resulting in improved material yields as well as allowing longer sheets to be processed. Due to the hybrid nature of the machine axis movements, the dedicated cutting plate uniformly supports the cutting area to ensure stable processing. Utilising smaller nozzle sizes and reduced assist gas consumption, ECO Cut achieves higher speed processing of mild steel up to 8 mm thick compared to traditional oxygen...
