Also ideal for: beets, turnips, shallots, celeriac, roots. Placed on the receiving tank, or on any machine at the start of line, the dumper empties the bins by rotating them. The bin containing the product is placed inside the dumper by a forklift, then with remote control the emptying cycle is started. The pre-washing tank is usually located at the start of line, and is used for an initial wash of products that normally grow underground. The product, placed in the initial tank filled with water, is taken up and transported out of the tank by an elevator belt, which transports it to the following machine. The conveyor belt with hopper is used at the start of line to constantly load and feed the product to be processed. It consists of a tank of different size depending on the product and the required capacity, with a belt inside that advances intermittently and at variable speed to feed the downstream machine. Soil remover with starcleaner plates Also ideal for: roots. The soil remover with starcleaner plates is used to remove soil and stones from the production cycle. The process involves passing the product on a series of fast-rotating rollers, on the rollers are placed a number of starcleaner plates with a soft rubber end, which is useful for removing soil but without damaging the product. The incoming product falls into the water-filled tank and through bubbling advances to the outlet, clearing it of any soil residue.
