AF-2047 Model VF-BD Bulk & Dribble Vibratory Feeder The Model VF-BD Series is a Bulk and Dribble Vibratory Feeder specially suited for fill-to-weight applications of larger, non-uniform particulate products such as cookies, pastries, produce, frozen foods, and other free-flowing products. The Model VF-BD is a dual stage Vibratory filler with an initial cascading vibratory tray dispensing product into a specially designed pair of bulk and dribble trays. During filling, the cascade tray moves product to the bulk and dribble trays, which empty product into a loadcell-equipped Weigh Bucket. When a user defined bulk portion of the final fill is reached, a product hold back gate actuates at the bulk tray to restrict the bulk flow as the dribble tray continues to dispense until the target weight achieved. When the proper weight is detected, the Weigh Bucket opens to empty product through the discharge hopper. As with other Vibratory Feeders from All-Fill, all controls are implemented with custom designed software that matches exact customer requirements and specifications. A versatile color touch screen HMI puts all major setup, adjustment, and operating functions directly at the operator’s fingertips.
