Product catalog summary
Design and Specifications:
The GH type group solenoids are available in diameters ranging from 35 mm to 265 mm and stroke lengths between 8 mm and 60 mm. They are designed with threaded rods at both ends, making them suitable for both pulling and pushing operations. These solenoids maintain a constant current consumption throughout the stroke length, allowing for versatile applications without the necessity to reach the stroke limit position. Movement is achieved through electromagnetic force, requiring an external power source for resetting.

Technical Data:
The solenoids are available in various types (GH 55, 65, 75, 85, etc.), each with specific magnetic force values at different stroke lengths. The relative on-time (ED) is specified for a maximum duty cycle of 5 minutes. Magnetic forces vary when mounted vertically due to armature weight. Coils can be customized for voltages up to 220 V DC or 230 V AC, with potential deviations in solenoid forces for voltages above 24 V.

Performance Parameters:
Key performance metrics include stroke work (Ncm), power consumption at 20°C (W), attraction time (ms), and drop-out time (ms). The solenoids have a degree of protection of IP 42, with IP 54 as an option. They can be mounted in any position, with force direction preferably axial to avoid increased bearing abrasion.

Dimensions:
The document provides a detailed dimension table for each solenoid type, specifying measurements such as length, width, and mounting specifications.

Additional Notes:
The document includes notes on the impact of vertical mounting on magnetic force, the conditions for DC circuit switching, and the availability of coils for different voltages at an extra cost.

KUHSE Lifting Solenoids-1

1.1 Hubmagnete Lifting Solenoids Typenreihe GH Type Group GH GH Design Solenoids of type group GH will be produced in sizes of 35 mm to 265 mm diameter, and with stroke lengths between 8 mm and 60 mm. As a standard pattern, these solenoids are manufactured with (threaded) rods at both ends, so they are appli cable for pulling or pushing operation. Due to the DC typical constant current consumption over the complete stroke length, the solenoids are appli cable for a wide range of functions. This means, even a small part of magnetic characteris tic may be used, and there is no demand to reach the stroke limit-position. The movement from stroke starting- to stroke limit-position is performed by the electromagnetic force; for resetting, an external power source (spring or weight) is needed.
