General Information & Application
Fincoil SOLAR ZA/ZZ condensers are designed for industrial refrigeration plants using R-717 ammonia as a refrigerant. They are available for both horizontal and vertical air flow configurations, with capacities ranging from 66 to 948 kW at a 15 K temperature difference.

Coils

ZA: Made from electrogalvanized steel tubes (ø 17 mm) and aluminum fins, with a tube pitch of 64 x 32 mm. Standard fin spacing is 2.5 mm, with optional spacings of 3.0 or 4.0 mm.
ZZ: Features hot dip galvanized steel coils with tubes (ø 20 mm) and a tube pitch of 57.71 x 50 mm. Standard fin spacing is 3.1 mm, with an optional spacing of 4.5 mm.

Casing
The casing is a sturdy, monocoque structure made of hot dip galvanized steel, with other parts made from stainless steel or corrosion-protected materials.

Fan Motors
Available with 2 to 12 axial fans in five speed options, with diameters of 914 or 1240 mm. The fan motors are enclosed, with protection class IP-54 and class F insulation. They are wired to safety switches (IP65) and feature corrosion-resistant blades and guards.

Certifications
The quality system complies with ISO 9001, and products are manufactured according to CE and PED rules.

Testing
Design pressure is 26 barg, and each heat exchanger is leak tested with dry air.

The SOLAR ammonia range is available for both horizontal and vertical air flow.
