Principle of Operation
The LYNX 40 features a cylindrical/conical bowl with a high length/diameter ratio. A screw conveyor inside the bowl continuously removes separated solids. The bowl operates at speeds up to 3650 rpm, generating a centrifugal force between 300 to 3574 G. Process liquid forms a layer around the bowl wall, with solids being plastered against the wall and removed by the screw conveyor.
