Optimizing drilling fluids The LYNX 20 decanter centrifuge plays a key role in topquality solids control processes, outperforming other equipment in side-by-side tests. This specialist unit not only reduces mud bills drastically, but also makes it possible to increase the penetration rate considerably. The LYNX 20 efficiently removes most of the fine particles that conventional solids control equipment is unable to deal with. Specially designed for versatility and the ability to work with virtually all kinds of drilling muds, this decanter centrifuge is optimized for use with the new water/synthetics-based mud types, in addition to conventional oil-based drilling fluids. A number of optional modules are available, specifically designed for uses on drilling rigs. These extend from fully automated modules to simple “hands-on” modules, providing effective solutions to virtually all solids control separation requirements.
