FOX 15 unearths the hidden value in slop oil The FOX 15 is a high-speed disc stack nozzle centrifuge that combines high capacity for handling solids with the superb separation performance that you only get from disc stack centrifuges, providing around 8,000 G of centrifugal force. Slop oil treatment usually requires several stages of separation, since most slop oil is a tight emulsion of oil and water, stabilized with particles. The FOX 15 can be part of such a multi-stage system, but can also function on its own. Features and benefits • Simple and compact design with automatic operation • Minimal number of moving parts • Removes both solids and water with superior efficiency • The patented OPTIPHASER ensures rapid and easy optimization, also during full operation FOX 15 • Can deal with considerable variation in feed composition and still achieve a water content as low as 0.1–1.0 % of the treated oil • Low operating costs • Easy maintenance The FOX 15 can process up to 15,000 l/h of slop oil, i.e. any blend of emulsified oil and water. Of that total, up to 2,000 l/h of solids content can be handled on a continuous basis. This makes the FOX 15 a very versatile and reliable machine for slop oil treatment.
