AlfaPure 2000 - For cost-saving cleaning of wash liquids, coolants and mineral oils. Separator system Centrifugal separation allows you to greatly extend the life of your service liquids. Alfa Laval’s disc-stack centrifuges accomplish a fast and efficient simultaneous three-phase separation of oil, water and sludge, regardless of the level and nature of the contaminants. AlfaPure 2000 removes all traces of contaminating oil, grease and solid particles from wash liquids and coolants. The result is lower costs due to reduced fluid consumption, less disposal costs and improvements in both product quality and working environment. The version of AlfaPure 2000 for oils removes fine solids and water thus avoiding wear, corrosion and breakdowns. AlfaPure 2000 is a complete module, easy to install and easy to use. It has a high capacity to size ratio. The module requires less than 1 m2 of floor space and AlfaPure 2000 can handle tanks with a volume of up to 100 m3. In most cases, AlfaPure 2000 is installed in a by-pass system and operates continuously. Innovative separator design Innovations in the separator design increase separation efficiency and minimize service requirements down to once every 3-6 months. • A new disc-stack design and a new paring disc give optimal separation efficiency, minimizing oil residues in water and sludge and giving a higher capacity. • A pre-clarification stage in the bowl protects the system from fibres and coarse particles. • The controlled partial discharge system minimizes sludge volumes and loss of liquids. • The new bowl design prevents bowl fouling and reduces the need for cleaning. • The new “top-end” design simplifies dismantling and maintenance. The module is compact and user friendly with two “sides”, one for operation and one for service.
