Slide gate/weir gate Alfa Laval AS-H Coplastix slide and weir gates are built with internal steel matrices that lend strength to the doors. The matrices are then encapsulated by a special formulated composite called “Coplastix”. All contact faces are made from composite and ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene materials for minimum friction, selflubrication, and a lighter gate. The lighter gate provides easier manual operation and requires less horsepower when actuators are employed. Slide gates exceed the AWWA C563 standard.
