A International has introduced the SU60, a new addition to its DC Contactor range. This model is a freestanding compact contactor with higher electrical ratings compared to the SW60, while retaining most of its features.

  • Thermal Current Rating: Up to 100 Ampere
  • Reduced Duty Cycle Rating: Varies from 120 to 180 Amperes depending on the duty cycle percentage
  • Inductive Fault Currents: 500 Amperes at 48V D.C. for SU60 and 96V D.C. for SU60B
  • Maximum Recommended Contact Voltages: 48V D.C. for SU60 and 96V D.C. for SU60B
  • Voltage Drop: 50mV at 100 Ampere
  • Mechanical Life: Over 3,000,000 operations
  • Coil Power Dissipation: Ranges from 5 to 21 Watts depending on the duty cycle
  • Pull-in and Drop-out Voltages: 60%V for intermittently rated types and 66%V for continuously rated types; Drop-out voltage is 10-25%V
  • Pull-in and Drop-out Times: 15ms for pull-in; 6ms without suppression and 35ms with diode suppression for drop-out
  • Contact Bounce Period: 3ms

The SU60 is designed for heavy-duty DC applications such as electric vehicles and other high current applications.
