The Alligator Foliebassin is a flexible storage basin made from polypropylene (PP) foil, installed within an earthwork. The PP foil is resistant to various liquids and UV radiation, ensuring a long service life. The basin is covered with a floating cover made from a specially developed double-coated woven fabric designed for use in manure environments.

Design and Construction

The Foliebassin can be supplied in various shapes and can be partially installed below ground level depending on the highest groundwater level. The excavated soil is used to build the dikes around the basin. Standard features include:
