- Length: Pilot Tubes (PT) are available in 30 inches (762 mm) and 60 inches (1.5 m) lengths. With cap and plug, the lengths are 34.75 inches (883 mm) and 64.75 inches (1.65 m) respectively.
- Assembly Length: 30-inch PT assembly is 30 ft. (9.1 m) and 60-inch PT assembly is 120 ft. (36.6 m).
- Tube Diameter: Outer Diameter (OD) is 4.1 inches (104 mm) and Inner Diameter (ID) is 2 inches (51 mm).
- Assembly Dimensions: For 30-inch PT: 14 x 18 x 44.5 inches (356 x 457 x 1130 mm); for 60-inch PT: 70 x 26 x 40 inches (1778 x 660 x 1016 mm).
- Each assembly includes pilot tubes, caps, plugs, rack, and lifting bar/hoops.
- Pilot tubes have an annular area of 2.4 sq. in. for fluid passage.
- Double o-ring seal at joints for enhanced sealing.
- Corrosion-resistant inner tube ensures a good seal with o-rings.
- Fast assembly with three thread start, locking joints at 2,000 ft/lbs.

Dual o-rings at the inner tube seals the connection between the pilot tubes. The inner tube is treated to resist corrosion assuring a good seal at the mating surface to the o-rings. Pilot tube cap and plug protects the threads during transport and storage. The area in yellow illustrates the fluid path through the dual pilot tubes to the steering head. The fluid flowing out the steering head and along the side of the pilot tubes, reduces the ground friction on the pilot tubes.
