Heavy Duty Cylinders

Product catalog summary
Introduction
AirControl is highlighted for its extensive experience in manufacturing pneumatic cylinders, with a strong emphasis on quality and innovation.

Product Overview
The document focuses on the 30 and 35 Series Heavy Duty Cylinders, which are engineered for extreme conditions and high-cycle applications across various industries including iron and steel, glass, paper, mining, public works machinery, and automotive.

Technical Specifications
  • Design: Options with or without tie rods, available in bores ranging from 50 to 300 mm.
  • Materials: Cylinder heads and pistons are constructed from rolled steel, with chrome-plated piston rods.
  • Seals: Standard NBR seals, with Viton seals available upon request.
  • Temperature Range: Operates between -30ºC to +80ºC, extendable to +200ºC with Viton seals.
  • Pressure: Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar.
  • Lubrication: Not required but recommended for extending seal life.

Installation Recommendations
  • Use clean, filtered air with a filter to remove particles larger than 5 microns and water condensation.
  • If using lubricated air, ensure continuous use to maintain lubrication.
  • Install a pressure regulator between the filter and lubricator to stabilize pressure and reduce air consumption.

Performance Parameters
Key performance metrics include bore, stroke, working pressure, working temperature, travel speed, damping force, air consumption, and theoretical force.

Fixing Elements
The document details various fixing elements such as flanges, hinges, and brackets, specifying dimensions and compatibility with different cylinder bores.

Conclusion
AirControl's Heavy Duty Cylinders are robust and versatile, designed for demanding industrial applications, supported by decades of expertise and a commitment to quality and innovation.

Additional Technical Specifications
Detailed specifications for components, including dimensions and thread sizes for fixing elements and heavy-duty cylinders, are provided.

Product Range
The document outlines a wide range of products including pneumatic valves, safety valves, proportional valves, FRL units, linear diaphragm and piston pumps, miniature diaphragm pumps, vane air motors, pneumatic brakes, and compressed air treatment solutions.

Contact Information
Contact details for headquarters and branches in various locations such as Donostia-San Sebastián, Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, and Lisbon are provided, including phone numbers, fax numbers, and email addresses.

Lifelong 1962... We have already been manufacturing pneumatic cylinders for half a century now. We can say that this is a lifetime’s work. Time flies, as does innovation, and we never tire of manufacturing pneumatic cylinders and continuously improving our products; it’s part of us, of our identity, impossible to erase. It’s in our history, in our present and our future. We are “the cylinder company”. We could give a boring speech to introduce our “lifelong” product, but we don’t want to, nor need to. We all know that pneumatic cylinders exist and we know their basic functions; like all pneumatic...

Technical information Fluid Installation recommendations AirControl cylinders are designed to work with non-lubricated air, which means that the cylinder components are lubricated in order to guarantee a correct operation. If you decide to use lubricated air, it’s important that the use is continuous, since this lubrication removes the one applied in the assembly phase. All of our cylinders are tested before delivering them to our customers. We recommend not to take off the plastic plugs that protect the air inlet until the tubing is connected. Strokes All strokes available upon request. Parameters...
