Introduction:
The Model AQE2000 by Air Quality Engineering Inc. is a portable cartridge system designed for industrial source capture applications. It effectively captures airborne contaminants such as welding smoke, grinding dust, and plastic dust.

Principles of Operation:
The system operates by drawing in contaminants through a hood/arm assembly at a rate of 1100 cubic feet per minute (cfm). Heavy particles are directed into clean-out trays, while smaller particles are trapped in two 99.8% efficient cartridge filters. Clean air is then diffused out of the unit. The filters can be cleaned using a reverse pulse system with a shop air hose.
