No.: Date: Supersedes: Page: CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE STANDARD FIBERGLASS CARDABLE FIBER FOR INTIMATE BLEND YARNS AND FABRICS DESCRIPTION This E -Type fiberglass product has been chopped into specific lengths from continuous filament strands manufactured with a specific size system. USE These cardable fibers are designed to be opened and blended with natural and organic synthetic fibers, utilizing conventional textile equipment for the manufacture of intimate blend yarns and dry formed non-woven fabrics. WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY Advanced Glassfiber Yarns, LLC represents only that this cardable fiber complies with the requirements of this specification and does not assume responsibility for the use of the product. The purchaser agrees to satisfy himself as to the suitability of the cardable fibers for the intended use and assumes responsibility for its performance in that use. It is recommended that the customer process a sufficient quantity of the cardable fibers to assure that the total range of variation inherent in the product has been evaluated. Available Packaging The product will be packaged in 50 pound polyethylene bags with a weight tolerance of +1, -0 pound. Chopped Length Tolerance A minimum of 99% of the strands in a bag shall be within ± 1/8". A maximum of 1% of the strands may be greater than nominal plus 1/8" but less than 6".
