HAND HELD MEASURING DEVICE Our hand held measuring units were developed for manual measurement of analogue sensors with either a current output (CP/C) or an input voltage (CP/V) to measure (CP/P) potentiometer, strain gauges (CP/R) and Pt 100 type temperature gauges (CP/Pt). The unit is equipped with a large 3½ digit LCD display for easy reading in any light condition. The unit is powered by internal Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries, allowing several hours of non-stop operating time. A 220 Vac feeder is supplied with the unit. The unit is designed to be easily operated using only one hand. The unit can be pre-configured to your exact needs whether physical or electrical units depending on what is being measured. Once programmed the units of measurement cannot be changed except at our laboratories. The measurement can be done in different ways: The reading unit is switched on by an onoff button; by releasing the button the unit switches off. The need to hold down the switch when the unit is on prevents accidental discharge of the battery by leaving the unit on. READING UNITS the temporary connection of a gauge to the unit. This type of reading is done when the sensor is first put into place within the installation and before the sensor is set up into any automatic system. 2. By means of a centralised control box connected to the sensors via special cables (supplied as standard) using waterproof connections.
