DamExplorer is a tool which allows inspection and exploration of any part of a dam. of any instruments, interrogate the data acquisition units and obtain an overview of the entire structure in real time. DamExplorer combines the advantage of being at a dam with the comfort of sitting in front of your PC while enjoying the high definition of a video game. 3D graphic model which reproduces the structure of the dam and using simple commands from the keyboard and mouse, you can surf anywhere within your dam. Not only that, by a simple connection with the database you can check the measurements being taken and the status Because the simulator is built around specialised 3D coding, the programme can be installed on any PC, provided that it is equipped with a minimum128 MB video card.
