Agilent AssayMAP Cartridges Automated Sample Preparation

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Agilent AssayMAP is a high-throughput sample preparation technology utilizing disposable chromatography cartridges on the Bravo Platform. It features a modified 96-channel liquid handler with precision flow syringes for precise flow control. The cartridges have a 5 µL packed bed suitable for various resins with particle sizes from 15 to 100 µm.

Key Features
  • Combines quantitation and sample preparation in one workflow.
  • Reduces errors and increases automation efficiency.
  • Enhances throughput with existing or customized workflows.

Ordering Information
Details for Protein A and Protein G cartridges include part numbers, cartridge codes, resin particle sizes, bed volumes, and chemistry specifications. Both have a dynamic binding capacity of ≥100 µg human IgG per cartridge and a saturation binding capacity of ≥125 µg and ≥150 µg hIgG per cartridge, respectively.

Stability and Storage
  • pH Range: 2–11 for short exposure to cleaning agents.
  • Temperature: 4 °C to room temperature.
  • Storage: Room temperature, use within 6 months.

Applications
  • Protein A: Purification and quantitation of antibodies and Fc fusion proteins.
  • Protein G: Similar applications as Protein A.

AssayMAP Cartridge Reuse
Cartridges should be used on the same day they are equilibrated. Proper storage involves keeping hydrated cartridges in a sealed bag with equilibration buffer.

AssayMAP Cartridge Release Criteria
Each batch undergoes functional testing for dynamic binding, pressure/flow testing, and visual inspection to ensure quality.

Additional Cartridge Information
Details for Streptavidin and Reversed Phase cartridges include part numbers, resin specifications, and binding capacities. Applications include generating affinity cartridges and preparing samples for mass spectroscopy.

Agilent AssayMAP Cartridges Automated Sample Preparation Data Sheet • Perform quantitation and sample preparation in the same workflow Agilent AssayMAP is a quantitative, high-throughput sample preparation technology which uses disposable chromatography cartridges on the Bravo Platform for AssayMAP. AssayMAP technology relies on a modified 96-channel, microplatecompatible liquid handler equipped with precision flow syringes that connect to the chromatography cartridges through a special probe. The AssayMAP Bravo head provides precise, positive-displacement flow control through the cartridges in either direction to well under 1 µL/min. The cartridges incorporate a 5 µL packed bed that can accommodate virtually any polymer, silica, or gel-based resin with particle diameters from 15 to 100 µm. Included are the specifications for four prepacked AssayMAP cartridges. • Reduce errors and increase walkaway time with reliable, automated processess • Increase throughput using existing chemistry or customized workflows

AssayMAP Cartridge Release Criteria Each batch of resin slurry that serves as the packing material for multiple cartridge racks is packed into cartridges and representative cartridges per batch are functionally tested for dynamic binding. Every AssayMAP cartridge is pressure/flow tested and visually inspected. The flow test measures the pressure drop across the cartridge at a specified flow rate. Visual inspection verifies correct assembly and complete filling of the bed volume. AssayMAP Cartridge Reuse Performance is guaranteed when cartridges are used on the same day they are equilibrated....
