Agilent 440 Fraction Collector Features, Specifications, and Ordering Details The Agilent 440 Fraction Collector is the ideal solution to semipreparative and preparative scale HPLC collections. The 440 Fraction Collector enables automated, accurate, and reproducible measurements at some of the highest sensitivity levels in the industry. The system features a large capacity of up to 270 × 13 mm OD tubes along with a wide choice of collection vessels. It is housed within a total footprint of only 490 mm (20 in) width × 285 mm (12 in) depth and optional accessories can enable operation outside of a fume hood. Fast tube-to-tube movement with a novel ‘X, Z, theta’ axis probe functionality minimizes sample loss during movements between tubes. The 440 also easily integrates with the full range of semipreparative to preparative HPLC system components. Features • Uses the real-time peak detection algorithms of Agilent OpenLAB CDS to achieve accurate, reproducible fraction detection every time. • Accurate collection by slope, threshold, volume, or time-slice. • Unique, extremely fast X, Z, theta axis probe movement minimizes sample loss during movements from tube to tube. • Enables collection of up to 270 fractions in 13 mm OD tubes. • Extended flow rate range – from 1 mL/min up to 800 mL/min using the high flow kit and funnel rack option. • System has a compact footprint of 490 mm (20”) wide × 285 mm (12”) deep.
