Aft TRACTOR MOUNTED TRENCHER THE AFT45 FOR COMPACT TRACTORS is a strong lightweight trencher built to fit onto tractors of 15-34 Kw (20-45 hp). Designed specifically for the sportsturf industry, it is very versatile and equally at home in the agricultural, domestic and industrial pipe and cable laying markets. The AFT 45 can be fitted with various digging chains, or a high performance slitting wheel for narrow, shallow trenches and optionally with total soil clear up and removal equipment. T ransmission The digging chain and slitting wheel are driven by the tractor PTO shaft through an adjustable safety clutch and right angle gear box. A further roller chain drives the slitting wheel. Chains heavy duty digging chains for trenches from 60 to 200mm wide up to a depth of 1.2m Slitting Wheel Totally enclosed wheel for trenchers of 40 to 70mm width up to 450mm deep, interchangeable with the digging chain.
