The proposed solution is a mechanical or electrostatic air cleaner, which can solve the majority of problems deriving from work processes that generate both dry and oil impregnated fumes and, in certain specific cases, also oil mist. Coupling the filtration unit to a suction arm (our IBS series) makes it possible to capture, at source, fumes, gas, microscopic particulate that are harmful for operator health, and is recognised and approved by international institutions responsible for promoting and regulating health and safety in the workplace. These units are suitable exclusively for single work stations and, thanks to their excellent quality-price ratio, they constitute the ideal solution for occasional and light duty applications involving the generation of fumes that are potentially harmful for operator health. In the case of replenishment of filtered air, we recommend frequent servicing and cleaning of the filter sections to obtain higher efficiency levels and maintain filtration capacity. In the case of intermittent work processes however, such pollutants can be aspirated and filtered out of the air, which is subsequently returned to the workplace. In this case, in addition to the use of portable air cleaner systems the installation of ambient ventilation systems may be required.
