Open the catalog to page 10U Channel Linear Motors Hardware Manual Chapter 1: Overview There are currently five series of "U" channel linear motors: BLM, BLMUC, BLMC, BLMH, and BLMX. A typical linear motor consists of a forcer plus one magnet track. The "U" channel linear motor can achieve speeds up to 10 m/sec and has exceptional positioning accuracy. Only the user’s position transducer, bearings, and servo control limit the resolution and accuracy of these motors.
