So now you can get the best use of your cutting table and fit a rotary blade cutter to work with materials which are not suited to laser cutting, or fit a creasing tool for use in combination with laser cutting. And because it’s an Aeronaut machine, change-over between blade and laser setups is around a minute. Vacuum tables can be built with quick-change cutting surfaces, or with dual zones suitable for laser or blade cutting. Since there is no contact with the fabric with lasers, cutting is fast and very reliable. Cut patterns release cleanly. Nesting margins can be less than a millimetre.
