The Elektron Laser ZT uses a newly developed range of compact high power lasers on a lightweight chassis opti- mised for high cut speeds, especially on small shapes. The Elektron Laser ZT laser cutter has been designed for indus- tries such as paraglider manufacture, parachute, kite and sail making, where high cut speeds and edge sealing are required. When stack cutting, the high power lasers available on this cut- ter deliver significant production benefits. The Elektron Laser ZT is can be supplied with air cooled or water cooled lasers from 60 to 100 watts and is fitted with a marker pen holder and efficient fume extraction. The all-metal sealed laser has very low running costs with over 45,000 hours before re-gassing. Since there is no contact with the fabric when laser cutting, plotting is fast and very reliable. Cut patterns release cleanly. Nesting margins can be zero. The result is big cost savings in time and fabric.
