Rotative level controls of the RL-A and RL-A AD ATEX series are designed for monitoring levels in containers with powdered or granular materials. The device features a plastic housing and operates through a low-speed synchronous motor that rotates a paddle inside the container. When material is absent, the paddle rotates freely. The presence of material slows the paddle, triggering a switch that cuts power to the motor. The paddle resumes rotation when the material level drops.

Mounting Instructions
The device is mounted on the container's external wall using a 1½ inch GAS threaded connection. It is crucial to ensure that the material can move freely around the paddle and that the paddle is not directly hit by the material flow. Deflectors may be necessary for heavy materials.

Accessories
Available accessories include single or double stainless steel paddle propellers, cable or shaft extensions (up to 1 meter for shafts and 2 meters for cables), and a 6-hole metallic flange for wall mounting.

The RL-A series is available in various models with different supply voltages (24Vdc, 24/48Vac, 110/220Vac). The housing is made of grey plastic PA6, with an operating temperature range of -20 to +80°C and a pressure range of 0.5 to 1.8 bar. When mounting the RL-A laterally, ensure the cable gland faces downward to prevent water infiltration. To facilitate paddle insertion, cut or bend the paddles as needed.
