General Description: The SM-85 membrane level control is designed for monitoring minimum and maximum levels in silos or hoppers containing non-sticky materials such as powders or granules, including rice, cereals, plastics, coffee, and sand. It operates by the pressure exerted by the material on a rubber membrane, which triggers a fast-acting microswitch. The sensitivity of the switch can be adjusted using a screw on the unit's lid, tailored to the material's specific weight. The device is unaffected by humidity and temperature changes and is resistant to impacts and vibrations.

Mounting Instructions: The control unit should be installed externally on the side wall of silos or hoppers using three holes on the fixing flange. A hole with a diameter of 86 mm must be made in the container to allow material contact with the membrane.
