Standardized Sensing Plate

Intervention Distances

Working Principle
Inductive sensors generate an alternating inductive field that changes when a metallic object enters, altering the oscillator state and controlling an external load. The intervention distance varies with metal type. Sensors are protected against polarity inversion and electrical disturbances, with short circuit protection in DC versions.
Sensor Versions
  • Version N: Non-amplified DC sensors for electronic amplified threshold circuits, with ATEX approval.
  • Version B: Two-wire amplified DC sensors for programmable controllers.
  • Version C: Three or four-wire amplified DC sensors, protected against short circuits and polarity inversion.
  • Version A: Two-wire AC sensors with thyristor output amplifier, compatible with PLC units.
Power Supply Suggestions
Adjust supply voltage according to sensor characteristics, using a transformer with secondary voltage lower than required direct voltage. Filter supply voltage with at least 470 µF per 200 mA used. Use a voltage stabilizer for high supply voltage.
