Description:

The SAF range consists of patented methacrylate adhesives designed for bonding various dissimilar substrates such as metals, plastics, and composites. These adhesives offer structural bonding with flexibility and fatigue resistance, suitable for aggressive environments and extreme temperatures.

Recommended substrates include Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Galvanized Steel, Powder coated steel, ABS, Elium, PC, PMMA, PS, PVC, and Glass.

Weathering and Ageing Resistance:

Surface Preparation:

Use AEC T700 for cleaning metal surfaces. Plastics may require simple cleaning or sanding for better performance.

Precautions:

Contains methacrylate monomers, flammable. Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid skin and eye contact. In case of contact, wash with soap and water or flush with water and seek medical attention.

Application:

Optimal at room temperature (12°C to 35°C). Follow product guide or contact Bostik for assistance.

Storage:

Shelf life of 9 months in unopened packaging, store between 15°C and 30°C.

Packaging:

Available in 50mL and 490mL cartridges, 20L pails, or 200L drums. Specific mixers required for different cartridge sizes.
