Material Handling | Process Cooling | Temperature Control | Size Reduction NOMADII SERIES Portable Drying System Technical Specifications The Nomad II Portable Drying System provides users the ability to dry and convey resins in a single, portable, compact unit. Available in one of three configurations, operators can automatically convey material to the drying hopper, to the process machine, or both the hopper and the process machine. All of this is possible by integrating the conveying controls with the dryer which means that no additions or expansions to existing conveying systems are required when adding the Nomad II. In addition, when equipped with an optional RPV proportioning valve, two materials (typically virgin and regrind) can be automatically conveyed to the drying hopper, eliminating the need to mix the two prior to drying. Features Standard Features Optional Features • Stainless steel flex hose (required when conveying materials above 250ºF) • High performance AD series Dehumidification dryer • AP1 Touch Screen control interface provides status of drying and conveying functions. • Dirty filter indicator • Simple start-up, shutdown, and change of drying and conveying parameters • Lower Temperature Operation 120°F to 180°F (49° C to 82°C) • Programmable PLC controller for drying and conveying functions • 7-day timer with autostart • Digital dew point displays • Material over-drying protection • High Temperature Operation 205°F to 400°F (96° to 204°C) • High temperature and high dew point alarms • Remote proportioning valve mounted to vacuum receiver to fill drying hopper • Integral dryer and hopper assembly with heavy duty casters • SRI01 Sight glass receiver for minimal inventory on the process machine • SRC Stainless Steel Drying hopper loading • Insulated drying hopper with sight glass and slide gate and clean out door • Closed loop conveying to process machine (when machine conveying option is chosen) • Single power connection point with electrical disconnect on control cabinet 2900 South 160th Street, New Berlin, WI 53151 | P: 1.262.641.86
