General Information
The SITEMA Safety Locks series KRG are typically supplied with threaded boreholes for bolting to a machine frame. However, when bolting from below is not feasible, a mounting flange is required. This document outlines the standard mounting flanges for the Safety Locks series KRG, which are detailed in Technical Information TI-S11.
Mounting Flanges for Series KRGThe mounting flange type FL/KRG is designed for attaching Safety Locks series KRG to the machine frame or for use in an upside-down position with a slide. It provides an alternative to bolting from below by allowing fixation from above. It is crucial to ensure that the
clamping rod has sufficient clearance to prevent lateral forces on the Safety Lock.
Specifications
The document provides detailed specifications for various types of mounting flanges, including dimensions and order numbers. The specifications include measurements for different components such as A, L1, B, G, X, Z, (D), and (H) in millimeters for each type of Safety Lock (e.g., FL/KRG 22, FL/KRG 28, etc.). These specifications are subject to modification without prior notice.
