SP-Lite

SP-Lite

Product catalog summary
Overview: The SP-Lite is a silicon pyranometer designed for routine solar radiation measurement under all weather conditions. It measures solar energy from the entire hemisphere and is suitable for solar energy applications, plant growth, thermal convection, and evapotranspiration calculations.
Specifications:
  • Dimensions: 460 x 90 x 88mm
  • Weight: 615 g (including arm & cable)
  • Spectral Range: 400 to 1100 nm
  • Sensitivity: 60 to 100µV / W / m²
  • Sensitivity Change: Less than 2% per year
  • Response Time: Less than 2 seconds
  • Max. Irradiance: 2000 W/m²
  • Temperature Dependence: +0.15% / °C (typical)
  • Directional Error: ±5% at 80 degrees
  • Output Signal: 0 to 2.5VDC, linear
  • Power Supply: 5.5 VDC to 7.2 VDC
  • Operating Temperature: -30°C to +70°C
  • Cable & Connector: 200cm, 7-pin M9 Binder male
Features: The SP-Lite uses a photodiode detector with a voltage output proportional to incoming radiation. It includes a signal amplifier for a uniform 0-2.5VDC output, making it plug-and-play. The hardened crystal lens is scratch-resistant and self-cleaning, providing excellent cosine response.
Compliance: Compares favorably to ISO 9060 First Class Thermopile Pyranometers under clear conditions and complies with the 89/336/EEC 73/23/EEC CE directive.
Applications:
  • Agricultural Weather Stations (ETo calculation)
  • Photo Voltaic Module monitoring
  • Educational purposes
Mounting: Includes a mast mounting bracket for poles with a diameter of 35-40mm, with clamps included.
Ordering Information: Product code 200.733.020 for the SP-Lite Pyranometer.
