Power Unit: The drill is powered by a 44 H.P. air-cooled diesel engine with a 12-volt electric start. Optional power units include air, electric, and gasoline.

Drill Head: The BX-7 hydraulic drill head features a 2-15/16” spindle I.D. with a 24” travel and a four-jaw hand chuck. An optional 30” travel is available. Drill head speeds range from 201 RPM in 1st gear to 1,286 RPM in 4th gear, with a reverse speed of 164 RPM.

Transmission: The drill uses a four-speed automotive sliding gear type transmission with one reverse speed.

Optional Features: Includes the NX4-S hydraulic drill head with a 3-5/8” spindle I.D., a cargo type cathead, Ackermatic hydraulic chuck assembly, Moyno and Triplex type water pumps, and a hydraulic motor-driven wireline hoist with an internal brake and level wind feature.

Weights and Dimensions: The standard build has a length of 100”, width of 40”, height of 64”, net weight of 3,220 lbs., and gross weight crated of 3,890 lbs. The cube is approximately 150 ft.
