Specifications:
Standard encapsulated sealed nozzle heaters are designed with specific diameters and clamping capacities. Each band heater diameter corresponds to a specific clamping range, for example, a 30 mm diameter heater fits nozzles from 30 mm to 31 mm. The maximum watt density is 6.5 W/cm², and the maximum operating temperature is 340°C. Available diameters range from 25 to 100 mm, heights from 20 to 80 mm, and wattages from 65 to 970 W at 230 V single phase.

Design and Construction:
The heaters are made with a sealed brass band and feature waterproof technology. Electric insulation is provided by a mica plate, and connections are made with a nickel core, fiberglass insulation, and an earth wire, all protected by a galvanized steel braid. The connection cap is positioned axially at 30° and centered on the height of the band heater for heights up to 38 mm. For greater heights, it is placed 20 mm from the edge.

Standards and Tolerances:
The products comply with EN 60335-1 standards. Wattage tolerance is +5% to -10%, and leakage current is less than 0.75 mA/kW.

Special Manufactures:
Options include sealed stainless steel nozzle heaters with a maximum watt density of 5 W/cm². Specific sealed nozzle heaters not kept in stock are available upon request.
