Tri-Ten Series

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Tri-Ten Series is designed to deburr both sides of a flat workpiece in a single pass without the need for flipping. It is suitable for both dry and wet environments, offering enhanced productivity and maintenance ease.
Key Features and Benefits:
  • Planetary Head: Utilizes a random brushing action for thorough deburring, outperforming single brushes and smaller planetary heads.
  • Variable Speeds: Brush and turret speeds are independently and infinitely adjustable, allowing for optimal performance.
  • Brush System: Features three 10-inch brushes that deliver acceptable results even at increased belt speeds, with automatic wear compensation via motor load feedback.
  • Quick Maintenance: Quick-change brush mounts and easy maintenance access ensure minimal downtime.
  • Programmable Adjustments: Part height and system settings can be programmed according to customer specifications.
  • Error Safeguards: Extensively alarmed with over 40 events to ensure operational safety.
  • Wet Process Features: Includes redundant Viton seals and a full-length drip tray for effective coolant management.
  • Increased Throughput: Higher filament-to-part contact and adjustable ratios eliminate dead spots, maximizing productivity.
Operational Process:
  • Dry Environment: Parts are carried under the first planetary head to deburr the top surface, then picked up by a magnetized overhead conveyor to deburr the bottom surface, followed by demagnetization.
  • Wet Environment: Parts are continuously bathed in coolant, with a reservoir and filtration system ensuring efficient coolant circulation.
Maintenance and Service Life: The system is designed for ease of maintenance, ensuring the best service life, particularly in wet process systems.

Tri-Ten Series-1

Tri-Ten Series Deburrs both sides of a flat workpiece in a single pass without flipping • Planetary head’s random brushing action results in more thorough deburring than single brushes or other planetary heads that use smaller brushes. • Significantly higher filament to part contact than with traditional heads. • Brush and turret speeds are independently and infinitely variable. • Ratio can be adjusted to eliminate “dead spots” and achieve optimal deburring. • Tri-Ten head’s three 10” brushes provide for acceptable results at increased belt speeds. • Increased parts per hour throughput for maximum productivity. • Automatic brush wear compensation via motor load feedback monitoring.* • Provides constant and recorded readings for brush penetration control, which maximizes brush life. • Quick-Change brush mounts. • Allows operator to change full brush set in only a few minutes. • Programmable part height adjustment. • System can be programmed according to cus- tomer drawings/drawing numbers. • Extensively alarmed as suited to the specific application involved (Upwards of 40 events). • Slide-out lower planetary head assembly. • All motors and electrical components are mounted outside outside process cabinet. • Additional wet process features: • Redundant Viton seals. • Full-length drip tray across front of machine. • Provides broad coverage of error-event safe- guards. • Easy maintenance access. • Provides ease of maintenance, and ensures best service life in wet process systems. * Uses fully electrical, “Intelligent Compensa- tion” to automatically adjust motors to proper Depth Of Interference.

A Look InsideSeries Tri-Ten The Tri-Ten Deburrs both sides of a flat workpiece in a single pass without flipping The first conveyor carries parts under the first planetary head to deburr the top surface. Wet Environment A reservoir and filtration system at the rear of the system continuously circulates coolant. A magnetized overhead conveyor picks up the part and carries it over the second planetary head to deburr the bottom surface. A third conveyor passes the part through a degausser that demagnetizes it. During each step of the process, parts are bathed in coolant from the orange nozzles....
