Centrifugal disks

Product catalog summary
Centrifugal Disks Overview
Centrifugal disks are primarily composed of a motor and a process tank with a polyurethane coating. The working tank is divided into two parts: a fixed upper part and a rotating lower plate. A critical gap seal separates these parts, which must be carefully controlled. It is crucial to avoid using abrasive materials or parts that are similar in size to the joint to prevent damage.

Operation and Energy
During operation, the workpieces move in a toroidal pattern due to the plate's movement. The energy generated by centrifugal disks is approximately five times greater than that of a vibrator but five times less than that of a centrifugal barrel, which does not require a seal.

Centrifugal disks-1

CENTRIFUGAL DISKS Centrifugal disk is mainly composed of a motor, a process tank with a polyurethane coating. The working tank consists of two parts : the upper part is fixed and the down part or plate is rotating. An appointed gap seal, separates these two parts. It must be rigorously controlled ; finally, using abrasive or parts whose size approaches that of the joint must be absolutely avoided . During treatment, the movement of the workpieces is toroidal, due to the plate movement. The energy generated by this type of equipment is approximately 5 times greater than in a vibrator. However, it is about 5 times lower than in centrifugal barrel, which have not the disadvantage of having a seal to maintain.
