Insulator technology The PS switch insulator uses advanced 'hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy' (HCEP) resin. HCEP resin adds hydrophobic properties similar to silicones, to the already advantageous property profile of traditional cycloaliphatic epoxies. Increased hydrophobicity leads to less surface wetting, which in turn provides better reliability and improved life expectancy.
