Unlike other converter heat sinks, Aavid designs feature crosscut fins to allow efficient cooling with airflow in any direction.This reduces component count since the same heatsink can be used on a variety of board layouts. In addition, all heat sinks are ready for mounting with interface material pre-applied which streamlines procurement and assembly.
