Weighing system for excavators is a dynamic weighing system for excavators with a mono boom. The weighing system is based on the LOADTRONIC wheel loader scale which has been on the market for more than 20 years. LOADTRONIC 3E has a backup and restore function for calibrated attachments, event logs, and lists of customers, material, trucks etc. The main unit presents the weight of material currently in the bucket, and also the running total weight of material delivered to the truck. LOADTRONIC 3E can optionally be delivered together with a printer, PC-Link display program and an SMS application. When the operator has completed a delivery, the truck driver can get a receipt if a printer is installed, or by SMS message (optionally); the truck driver knows the weight of his truck and can easily avoid overload when driving his goods. LOADTRONIC 3E PC-Link is a display program for transferring data between an office PC and one or several LOADTONIC 3/3E sytems. Database lists can be maintained in an office PC, and lists and calibration data can be transferred for backup. Office files can be transferred back to LOADTRONIC 3/3E systems on a regular basis. The weighing system is very useful both to customer and company as the system keeps track of delivered material to each truck and all the excavator operations which can optimize maintenance of the machine. Lists of customers, materials, trucks, location as well load lists can be transferred to the office PC using a USB memory stick or a wireless connection. The files can be viewed and edited in e.g. MS Excel or Notepad. An SMS load receipt can be sent to the office as soon as the load is delivered to the truck. After a few seconds the information in the SMS message is displayed as a new line in a PC-Link SMS office program.

Data from the LOADTRONIC 3/3E systems (load lists, database lists, attachments, calibration data etc.) can be converted into ASCII text files for export to e.g. MS Office Excel for further handling: invoicing, stocking etc. • LOADTRONIC 3 PC-Link Wireless can transfer data using a modem connection and using a USB memory • LOADTRONIC 3 PC-Link Memory Stick can transfer data using USB memory stick only.
