Specifications

Aluminum models feature aluminum housings and valve blocks with Viton® O-Rings and PFA closing pins.
Stainless steel models use 316 stainless steel valve blocks with PTFE-lined aluminum housing blocks.
Maximum flow rates are 1000 L/min for air and 28 L/min for water.
Connections include 3/8", 1/2" compression, and 3/4" FNPT.
Electrical connections are made via a 9-pin “D”-connector.
Power input options are 12Vdc @ 800 mA or +24 Vdc @ 600 mA, with a 1600mA resettable fuse for protection.
Directional control signal is a 12Vdc CMOS compatible logic level signal.
Speed control signal is analog 0 to 2.5 Vdc.
Response time is 100ms with a maximum operating pressure of 500 psig (35 bars).
Operating temperature range is 32 °F to 122 °F (0 °C to 50 °C).

Operation

The valve spindle moves downward (closes) when the "DIRECTION" is set LOW and upward (opens) when set HIGH.
The "SPEED" voltage on pin 4 controls the speed of opening or closing, within 0 to +2.5 Vdc limits.
Override options are available for "DIRECTION" and "SPEED" signals using preset control signals.
Indicators: A GREEN light shows a CLOSED valve, and a RED light indicates a fully OPEN valve.
After powering up, the valve automatically closes within the first 10 seconds and then resumes normal operation.

General Description

The valves are driven by high precision linear stepping motors, offering a standard resolution of 0.00025"/step.
Advantages include cool operation, fine resolution, low differential pressures, and high operating pressures.
Valves are controllable by CMOS 12 Vdc compatible logic level and analog 0 to 2.5 Vdc signals.

ALUMINUM MODELS: Operation When the “DIRECTION” is set LOW (GND) the valve spindle travels downward (closes), when it is set HIGH, the valve spindle moves upward (opens). The “SPEED” voltage on pin 4 determines how quickly the valve opens or closes. The signal amplitude for the “SPEED” control signal must remain within the limits of 0 to +2.5 Vdc.
