® Better Air is Our Business ® PFC™ Flexible Dust and Fume Control AAF's PFC™ — Portable Fume Collector is a complete and selfcontained unit that captures fumes at the source. Convenient and flexible for a variety of applications, the PFC can be moved around to meet the changing demands of your manufacturing operation. Its compact design employs the latest technology in fume capture and is suitable for most industrial environments. AAF's PFC is the ideal solution for controlling welding fumes, grinding dust, and processes where portable fume collection is needed. New Generation Design PFC offers fume and dust control in a compact "plug-and-go" design. The unit plugs into a standard 115 volt outlet. Large caster wheels with two swivels make the unit easy to move through doorways and into tight spaces. Easy Operation and Maintenance Easily and reliably capture pollutants and fumes at the source using the heavy-duty flexible capture arm with locking exterior adjustment. Accurately reach difficult spots by simply rotating the hood 360¢ª into position and taking advantage of powerful vacuum suction, 725 CFM, at the capture hood. A 6" diameter, 7' long capture arm is standard. Routine maintenance consists of emptying the pull-out dust drawer through the quick opening access door and replacing the pleated carbon after-filter. An internal spark deflector plate is standard. Durable Construction AAF's PFC is built to withstand the rigorous demands of manufacturing applications. All surfaces, inside and out, are finished with a tough powder coating for durable operation throughout the life of the collector. Pulse-cleaned filters provide 99.99% efficiency on 0.5 ìm and larger particles. The PFC is supplied with an internal compressed air storage tank with an external Schrader quick connect fill coupling. The pulsejet filter cleaning is easily activated with an external push button. This reduces plant downtime and filter change outs. The fan is powered by a 115/60/1, 1.5 HP (15 amp minimum circuit required) motor with thermal overload protection. Plant Safety and Cleanliness The PFC is the ideal solution for capturing workplace fumes from welding smoke, hand grinding, and any smoke or fume application that requires personnel venting. Improving manufacturing air quality provides healthy and productive working conditions. AAF's PFC promotes compliance with industry workplace standards and environmental clean air regulations.
