Dairy equipment - Pasteurization Batch pasteurization The pasteurization of small volumes is also subject to food regulations. The batch pasteurizer offers a compliant, cost-effective alternative for pasteurization. We recommend batch pasteurization for drinking milk throughput volumes up to 500 I, as well as for processing milk up to 1 000 I - exceptionally also 1 500 I. Thereafter, the milk can be processed directly in the vessel. Combined with additions accessories, the vessel is suitable for the processing of yoghurt, kefir, curd (quark), fresh cheese, and cheese. At customers’ request, batch pasteurizers can be heated with steam, electricity or with other heating systems such as oil-fired systems, gas central heating, wood heating, and combined heat and power systems. In addition, different heat sources can be combined. We have a year-long experience in the manufacturing of batch pasteurizers and hold the test certificates required by some authorities. Especially in the production of drinking milk, our energy-efficient units have a heat recovery of 92 %. This way of heating milk saves the operator both heating and cooling energy. A separator and a homogenizer can be easily integrated to the flow pasteurizer - also after commissioning.
