NetLink Wireless communication link Netlink enables the data transmission remotely through radio communication. It has been specially designed to create wireless distributed data acquisition networks. Thanks to the multiple Netlink interfaces, it allows the following functions: • Serial/serial radio Bridge (RS232 and RS485) • Serial/Ethernet radio Bridge and vice versa • Ethernet/Ethernet radio Bridge • Ethernet/serial converter Netlink is the fastest and most effective “cable replacement” solution, allowing to reach significant distances in indoor facilities too. Usually in many applications the link between serial or Ethernet remote devices can present problems because of the distance, channels or different ways of transmission. Netlink solves all these problems and at the same time it is fast and easy to set up. The configuration APP enables all the parameters settings and the saving on Netlink through the NFC communication. These are the most common applications: • Communication between ModBus master and Slave • Ethernet/serial protocol conversion • Wireless data remotely transmission (3/500m) • RS232/RS485 protocol conversion Point to point is the classical cable replacement but Netlink allows RS232, RS485 and Ethernet Point to multi-point mode to gather the data from a complex network in a very easy manner.
