WaveCam 1000 Data Sheet-1

The WaveCam 1000 Mach-Zehnder interferometer measures the wavefront quality of small lenses, pulsed and continuous lasers, and CD/DVD/Blu-ray pickup heads. The WaveCam incor- porates a patented dynamic phase sensor that acquires data in tens of microseconds, allowing accurate measurement even in the presence of vibration or turbulence. The optional Collimated Reference Source (CRS) enables wavefront testing for small diameter optics from 2 to 6 mm. The WaveCam 1000 is a turnkey instrument that includes the interferometer, computer system and industry-leading 4Sight wavefront analysis software. The system can be completely calibrated using only the CRS, eliminating the need for troublesome, expensive point reference sources. A range of precision accessory optics and mounting components is available to maximize flexibility for a wide variety of applications. The 4Sight intuitive interface sets a new benchmark for simplicity, ease of use and graphical display for measurement set-up and data analysis. Perform Zernike and Seidel, geometric and diffraction analyses. Save, print and export data or cut and paste results with unequaled flexibility. A complete set of software analysis tools for pickup head metrology makes it easy to measure beam intensity distribution, wavefront quality, and focused spot parameters. Database capabilities within 4Sight are ideal for production and QC applications. A true multi-wavelength system, all of the WaveCamْs optics are coated and corrected for the most common data storage wavelengths (780, 650, and 405 nm) but may be used for any wavelength between 400 and 800 nm. Zoom imaging and turret- mounted optics make it a snap to set up and quickly measure a wide variety of pickup head assemblies and components. Integrated tracking beam blocks are adjustable to accommodate almost any pickup head beam configuration. The easy-to-use alignment system with discrete zoom greatly increases throughput. n Vibration Insensitive Dynamic Operation > n Measure Intensity and Phase > n Characterize Pulsed or Continuous Lasers > n Collimated or Divergent Beams > n Patented Achromatic Phase Sensor > n 4 > 00-800 nm Operation n Turret-Mounted Accessory Optics > n Internal Reference LaserCalibrate Without a Point of > WaveCam 1000 configured for small lens testing.
