4B Rotech Encoder
The 4B Rotech Encoder is designed to protect equipment and personnel from underspeed and belt slip conditions. It is also used for speed control, rotation direction detection, gate position indication, and shaft revolution counting. Suitable for use in various mechanical handling systems such as bucket elevators, conveyors, mixers, fans, pumps, and grinders.
The encoder uses an inductive sensing device to detect a steel rotor, and a photo diode for slow speed or accurate position control. It generates one pulse per rotor or slot, allowing direct connection to a PLC/computer or 4B control module. The encoder is mounted directly to the shaft without the need for guards or brackets, and is available in polyester and stainless steel for corrosive environments.
Available options include a Mag-con magnetic connector for easy mounting, a Tacho Display, and a Rotational Speed Controller AUE 400. Detailed specifications, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions are available upon request.
