3M™ Labcoat 4440 Data Sheet v. Storage and Disposal The 3M™ Labcoat 4440 is designed to help protect the wearer against non-hazardous dusts and non-hazardous light liquid splashes where the garment covers. It is made from the same white laminated fabric as the front of the 3M™ Protective Coverall 4535 making it microporous and comfortable to wear. Key Features • Knitted cuffs for extra comfort • Front zip closing (single way) • Low-linting properties • Fabric has an anti-static treatment with Surface Resistivity no greater than 5.0 x 1010 • Made from the same white laminated fabric as the front of the Protective coverall 4535. Typical Applications • Medical or Emergency Services • Electronics Manufacturing • Laboratories This product is CE Category I for use in low risk applications. A risk assessment should be carried out by a trained safety professional to ensure that appropriate PPE and accessories are selected and worn correctly. For more information, please contact 3M. Materials • Store in dry, clean conditions in original packaging • Store away from direct sunlight, sources of high temperature and solvent vapours • Store within the temperature range -20°C to +25°C (-4°F to +68°F) and with relative humidity below 80% • Shelf life is three years from date of manufacture when stored as stated above • Replace garments if damaged, heavily contaminated or in accordance with local work practice • Handle and dispose of contaminated garments with care and in accordance with applicable regulations Use Limitations Do not dry clean Flammable - keep away from sparks or flames Labcoat 55gsm Polypropylene & Polyethylene Laminate Zipper Metal / Nylon / Polyester Braid Elastic Synthetic Rubber Warnings and Limitations Before use be sure that the product is suitable for the application and fitted correctly. Product must never be altered or modified. Do not use for: Cuffs Polyester Thread Polyester / Cotton This product does not contain components made from natural rubber latex. Contact with heavy oils, sparks or flame, or combustible liquids; Environments with high mechanical risks (abrasions, tears, cuts); Protection against hazardous substances; Environments with conditions of excessive heat.
