This document describes a solution for freeze protection of fire hose cabinet heaters. The heaters are designed to be easy, efficient, and fast to install, ensuring protection against freezing conditions.
Key Features:
- Washable and watertight with an IP54 rating, suitable for outdoor use.
- Homogeneous temperature distribution due to the spreading effect of the aluminium foil.
- Limited heat waste thanks to full insulation.
- Quick installation facilitated by Velcro® strips.
- Comes with a 2-meter main supply cable, with other lengths available upon request.
- Operates at a voltage of 230 V with electrical safety ensured by an earth lead.
- Output power is 400 W/m².
- Includes an internal freeze protection thermostat and thermal protector.
Recommendations:
It is recommended to use a red protective cover with the “RIA” logo, although this is not included.

- Complies with the NF S62-201 AFNOR standard (September 2005), section 5.6.
- Adheres to the R5 installation rule of APSAD/CNPP (March 2008), section 2.3.7, which mandates that the global installation must be protected against frost, including sources, inside and outside building pipes, and fire hose cabinet heaters.
